The 2025 American Film Market was buzzing — packed with films, energy, and an atmosphere that was absolutely electric. Its return to the iconic Fairmont International Hotel in Century City put everyone in motion, navigating the lobby and multiple floors with ease and purpose.
WIFco Films made its official AFM debut with Mycelium Mountain (currently in pre-pre-production), and the response exceeded even our highest expectations. The new poster was a standout hit, drawing continuous attention, and many attendees were genuinely impressed with the storyline. Among them were Palladia Pictures, who expressed strong interest in the project. We’ve continued our conversations with them and are excited to see where this collaboration may lead.
We left AFM with momentum — big news for a small but ambitious film company charging out of the gate. We’ll keep you posted as things either grow… or deflate. That’s the nature of the game, but we’re feeling optimistic.
Additionally, WIFco Films was approached by Normandee Productions, a Colorado-based company gearing up to raise funds and produce their feature High Strangeness in the beautiful state of Colorado. High Strangeness is a comedy set in the small rural town of Bailey, where the local Sheriff and Deputy are thrust into an investigation involving a missing hiker — with some locals claiming the culprit may be none other than the legendary Bigfoot. When duty calls… let’s just say duty is about to hit the fan. Normandee Productions and WIF co Films are partnering up to produce this indie film and we’re very excited to be a part of it.
